↵ NEWSNever Too Late To Make AmendsOriginal Release: 12/14/2020
Is there anything you did in high school that still haunts you to this day? From poor beverage choices at a Friday night party to some seriously questionable outfit choices, teenagers often do things that seem outlandishly stupid. Failing to consider the consequences of their choices, teens often act on impulse and seek excitement by engaging in risk-taking behavior. One Brush ARC can now rest easy having made the decision to "right a past wrong". We do not have permission to share any names, but the Alumni Association recently received a generous check and the following note from a Brush graduate: "Gentlemen: I stole several books from the Brush High Library back when I was a student in the late 1970's. I no longer have those books and I am not even sure of the names. I do know the books pertained to meteorology. I was wrong to steal them. I would like to donate $250 as restitution for stealing those books and denying other students access to them. Sincerely..." A big ARC thanks to this Brush alum for the generous donation to the Alumni Association. |
